If you didn’t read the pre-Super Bowl post “Broadway Plax?! Prediction drawing similarities” you may want to do that. In the 3rd graph I wrote about the possibility of Plaxico Burress being superstitious. Well, it looks like superstition has paid off in a big way cause the Giants pulled off the biggest upset in Super Bowl history, and possibly sports history, on Sunday. Plax himself didn’t have a huge game, but he was the recipient of the final touchdown pass which put the Giants up 17-14 with 35 seconds remaining when he literally dropped the corner back to his knees while running a slugo (slant & go) route.
I’ll post more on my take of the game later.
