Former Falcons coach and current asst head coach and DB coach, has officially been named Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren’s successor after the ‘07-’08 season. 46 year old Mora went 26-22 in his tenure in Atlanta with Michael Vick at the helm. It was thought that Mora, who grew up in Seattle and was an assistant coach at the University of Washington, had returned to the northwest in hopes of claiming the Huskies head job to replace Tyrone Willingham. Which was still a possibility after removing his name from consideration of the vacant head job for the Washington Redskins two weeks ago. It seems that this was not his thought process.
