Plies dropped his sophomore album Definition of Real June 10th. We weren’t huge fans of his first album, The Real Testament, but this is a HEATER! Here is our review, track by track:
1. I’m Da Man - Featuring Trey Songz this is a BANGER of an intro! We love startin out an album with a HEATER! 5/5
2. Ol’ Lady - Nice song… album worthy. You won’t skip past this track. 3/5
3. Bushes - Similar beat to 100 years on The Real Testament… this is nice, don’t skip this! 3.5/5
4. Worth Goin’ Fed Fo - Nice chill song. 3/5
5. Dat Bitch - This may end up being a single. Definite radio type song. 3.5/5
6. Somebody Loves You - Nice chill song. 3/5
7. Feel Like Fuckin’ - This is kinda a banger. Probably everyone can relate to this song. 3.5/5
8. Watch Dis - Featuring T-Pain. This is HEAT! Don’t know is this will make radio play but it’s definitely one of better songs on cd. 4.5/5
9. Who Hotter Than Me - We believe this to be his second single off of the album but can’t understand why! 3/5
10. 1 Day - This song could have been left off of cd. Definite just a filler song. 2.5/5
11. Bust it Baby Pt 2 - First single from album. Good hook, made for radio play. 3.5/5
12. Shit Bag - Decent song but not noteworthy. 2.5/5
13. Please Excuse My Hands - Featuring Dream. SHOULD be a single off the single. Definite chart topper. 4/5
14. Rich Folk - Song is OKAY. Album filler. 2.5/5
15. #1 Fan - We believe this song is a Cool & Dre beat. It should also be a single off of the cd. Features Keyshia Cole and J.Holiday so you know it’s made for radio play. 4/5
